Prayers in Spring

We give thanks for the vigour of rain and the passion of sunshine—
for regeneration in cooler times, and the promises of spring.

In our gardens, the bulbs and blossoms thrill us with their graceful miracles.
In our lives, small kindnesses and loving friends encourage us
in times of difficulty or stress,
and push the boat out with us in our times of joy.

In our world, those who work for peace
and the integrity of our planet
remind us that all life is precious.

So we give thanks.
